From the first cut to the maker's mark.
A closer look at the work, the materials and the choices behind your piece.

How is the leatherwork made?
The studio's process includes dyeing and moulding the leather, cutting a stitching groove and bevelling the edges. Stitch holes are prepared before the piece is sewn by hand. One craftswoman carries the work through to completion, then embosses her initials into it.
Those initials identify the maker; they are separate from any name or monogram added for the customer. On the product page, look for the construction and dimensions of the particular object you are choosing.
Are all the pieces made from the same materials?
The collection includes leather and canvas belts, copper tiffins and objects with different constructions. Use the details of the individual product when choosing a piece, rather than assuming every item shares the same leather, lining or fittings.
If a particular material matters to you, ask the workshop about the exact product and version before ordering. Dimensions and fit should be checked in the same way.
Can I add a name, initials or a logo?
Ask the workshop about personalising your chosen piece with a name, initials or a company logo. The available space and the item itself determine what can be accommodated.
Confirm the wording, placement and any cost before ordering. The maker's own initials are her signature on the work; customer personalisation is a separate request.
How do I care for a piece or arrange a repair?
Contact the workshop for care advice for your particular item. Include the product name and the part you need help with, so the request relates to the object you own.
If something needs attention, ask about arranging a repair. Confirm what is possible and any charges or shipping arrangements before sending the piece.
