Our products are made exclusively from top grain vegetable tanned leather that we pair with solid brass fittings and cotton canvas webbing. The best quality raw materials is the only place to start if you want to produce top quality products.

After dying and wet moulding the leather to shape, each stitching hole is first drilled with a small hand held drill and then every single stitch is made by hand using wax coated cotton thread. The process is tedious and takes many hours on most products, but the quality of the outcome can not be surpassed. What we’re doing at Els & Co. is the epitome of truly hand made

For special occasions or for corporate gifting we can personalise your purchase by:

• Embossing a name or initials onto the leather and / or book.
  • The amount of letters we can emboss will be dependent on the space available on the product you order.
  • The font we use is Capitals and the letters are 8,5mm high.
• Having an embossing block cut of your corporate identity and embossing your logo onto the leather or book. The embossing is subtle, as it should be on a high end, quality product.

To emphasise the quality of each Els & Co. product, our packaging offers a simple but very honest presentation of each craftswomen’s creation. Wrapped in tissue paper and accompanied by a hand written letter from the craftswomen addressed to the receiver, as well as a short version of our story, this really rounds of every Els & Co. “gift”, even when it’s for yourself. And of course the impact of this when used as a corporate gift is priceless.
